Recently, there is a way to infuse tea that is “making waves”, creating a new trend in the tea drinking world, which is the way to infuse instant lotus tea, or tea infused in fresh lotus flowers. Infusing tea is very simple, just put dry tea in a half-open lotus flower, tie it tightly and leave it for a few hours for the tea to absorb the flower’s fragrance before serving.

Tea infused with fresh lotus flowers is often favored by young people because of its beautiful appearance and moderate aroma but does not last long. Many people like to experience drinking freshly infused tea right on the lotus pond during the lotus blooming season. It is a very interesting experience, if you have the chance, you should try it.

The Taste of Lotus Tea

Bao Loc Lotus Tea is made from tea leaves of the Tran Ninh Shan tea variety. The tea leaves are large, soft, and spongy, so they have the ability to absorb fragrance very well.

As soon as you pour boiling water into the tea, you will immediately feel the strong scent of lotus flowers spreading in the air. Take a sip of tea, the fragrance still lingers in your mouth, down to your throat.

The slightly bitter taste of tea appears on the tip of your tongue as soon as you drink it, spreading throughout your throat. Then there is a gentle, pleasant sweet aftertaste that lingers in your mouth for a long time.

3 main factors that affect tea brewing

There are three factors that affect tea brewing: water temperature, amount of tea, and steeping time. Lotus tea is particularly sensitive to these three factors. Adjusting or decreasing each factor will have a very different effect on the brewed water.

  • Temperature : higher temperature tea will be fragrant, but bitter. Lower water temperature tea will be sweeter, but not as fragrant. Too cold water, tea will taste watery.
  • Amount of tea : the more tea, the stronger the taste, but also more bitter and wastes tea :)
  • Steeping time : steeping tea for too long will easily cause a harsh taste, steeping too quickly will make the tea taste bland.

Vietnamese Tea Recommendations: Temperature: 85°C, tea quantity: 8g/200ml, steeping time: 20 seconds .

Discover a balance between the three elements in your own way.

  • Once opened, it is best to use it within 15 days. After each use, close or tie the bag tightly to prevent light and air from entering.

Luxuriously designed gift box

Nearly 20 years ago, when the founders chose the direction for Vietnamese Tea, we wanted tea to be a delicious, healthy and beautiful gift to give to your loved ones or customers. Therefore, when designing, we paid close attention to the sophistication and convenience of the product set, from the material to the product packaging, all were meticulously designed. This is clearly demonstrated through the following 4 factors:

1 –  Fine art paper material  : this is a very beautiful material but also very difficult for design. The special feature of this material is that the paper color is dyed during the production process, and this paper is a type of embossed paper. Therefore, you cannot use the usual color printing method to print patterns or logos on the product.

2 –  Silk screen printing  : is a traditional way of printing for a long time. This is also the way that Tra Viet chooses to silk screen the patterns on fine art paper. This combination creates a luxurious and traditional beauty for the gift set.

3 –  Gold foil logo  : Gold foil logo or silver foil logo will create a delicate highlight for your gift box. If you are a business and you want to promote your brand on Tra Viet products to give to customers? Then do not hesitate to send your logo to Tra Viet. We will gold foil your logo solemnly in the center of the gift set so you can impress your customers.

4 –  The harmonious combination of red and black : these two colors are always a “perfect pair” when placed next to each other. The two combined colors create harmony and luxury for the product, with the main red color expressing the joy and brilliance of the festival.
